How to Verify an Edge Capital Certificate (Funded & Payout IDs)
Published 2026-07-31 · 4 min read
Screenshots are easy to fake. That is why every certificate Edge Capital issues — for becoming a funded sports bettor or for a completed payout — carries a unique identifier that anyone can check against our records. If the ID matches, the certificate is genuine.
What does a certificate ID look like?
Each certificate has a structured, human-readable identifier. The prefix tells you the type, followed by the year of issue and a sequential number.
- Funded certificate: EC-FND-2026-00147 — issued automatically when a challenge becomes funded.
- Payout certificate: EC-PYT-2026-00312 — issued automatically when a payout is approved.
- Each ID is unique, sequential and generated by our system, so it cannot be duplicated or forged.
How to verify a certificate
Verification takes a few seconds and requires nothing but the ID printed on the certificate.
- Open the Edge Capital verification page at edgecapital.co/verify.
- Type or paste the certificate ID exactly as shown (for example EC-FND-2026-00147).
- Press Verify. If the ID is genuine, you will see the holder name, the certificate type, the amount (for payouts) and the issue date.
- If nothing is found, the ID is not valid — double-check for typos or a missing character.
Why certificate verification matters
Public verification protects everyone. It lets partners, communities and prospective bettors confirm that a funded status or payout is real, and it protects Edge Capital traders from having their achievements copied or misrepresented. Because the check is read-only and exposes no private data beyond what is on the certificate itself, it is safe to share an ID publicly.
