How to Verify an Edge Capital Certificate (Funded & Payout IDs)

Screenshots are easy to fake. Certificate IDs are not, and anyone can check one in a few seconds.
Screenshots are easy to fake, which is why every certificate we issue carries an identifier anyone can check against our records. If the ID matches, the certificate is real.
What does a certificate ID look like?
A prefix for the type, the year it was issued, then a sequential number.
- Funded certificate: EC-FND-2026-00147, issued automatically when a challenge becomes funded.
- Payout certificate: EC-PYT-2026-00312, issued automatically when a payout is approved.
- The numbers are sequential and generated by our system, so an ID cannot be reused or invented.
How to check one
You need nothing but the ID printed on the certificate.
- Open edgecapital.co/verify.
- Type the ID exactly as it appears, for example EC-FND-2026-00147.
- Press Verify. A genuine ID returns the holder name, the certificate type, the amount if it is a payout, and the issue date.
- Nothing found means the ID is not one of ours. Check for a typo or a missing character before concluding anything.
Why it is public
It cuts both ways, and that is the point. A community or a partner can confirm that a funded status is real, and our bettors can prove an achievement that somebody else has copied. The check is read-only and returns nothing beyond what is already printed on the certificate, so an ID is safe to share.
